What causes a spider phobia fear?
Arachnophobia is an excessive fear of spiders. This phobia can often be triggered by just the thought of, or sometimes even seeing a picture of a spider. Of course a serious case of ARACHNOPHOBIA is much different from someone who just doesn’t like spiders. People who are afraid of spiders have feelings of panic by simply entering into a situation where spiders “may” be present.
Because this fear of spiders can and does compel where someone chooses to live, travel , what type of work or even hobbies they can enjoy. Symptoms often include excessive sweating or clamminess, rapid breathing, rapid heartbeat, sickness and dizziness.
This fear/phobia is more often than not caused by something which happened earlier in life which was very frightening to the person. Sometimes people have the thought that such a frightening event would long be forgotten and never dreamt that it could actually affect them now. Also, many people don’t/can’t remember the events which led to this fear/phobia.
